Beautiful old Santa Claus candy container made of papier-mâché.
It dates from 1930-1950.
The pine branch is made of paper needles.
The hat, sleeves and bottom of the coat are trimmed with a woolly fabric so that it resembles a fur edge.
This one still has the base plate.
Often that path is gone.
The candy container is in nice condition.
