General terms and conditions

The general terms and conditions of Van Mij en Co apply to all deliveries. By placing an order, you agree to these general terms and conditions of delivery. Deviations from the General Terms and Conditions are only valid if expressly agreed upon in writing with Van Mij en Co.

When you place your order online with Van Mij en Co, it will be immediately summarized in an email with a link to check your order status. You will also receive an order confirmation, including payment/collection information and, if applicable, any changes to the agreement.

I will process your order as soon as possible.

I reserve the ordered items for 7 days. If I don't receive payment or an email within this period, the reservation will be canceled and the items will be offered for sale again. If a particular item is temporarily unavailable, I will notify you within 24 hours, after which you can decide whether to order a different item or cancel the current one.

I carefully package the items, but I am not liable for breakage or loss due to postal delivery. The buyer bears the risk.

You can also pick up your order from me. I'll let you know in your confirmation email when your order is ready for pickup. You can then schedule an appointment with me.

Ownership of the delivered items will only be transferred when all amounts due to Van Mij en Co have been paid. Risk for the items will pass to you upon delivery or collection.

You might sometimes want to return an order. Perhaps because you're not satisfied with the product, or perhaps there's another reason why you don't want the order. Whatever the reason, you have the right to cancel your order up to 7 days after receipt without giving a reason.

After canceling, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount.

Shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility. Van Mij en Co. does not accept unpaid or cash-on-delivery shipments.

If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to return it, we may charge you for the reduction in value. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.
