This beautiful antique snuffbox is gilded on the inside, preventing the contents from corroding the silver.
The image on the top is different than the image on the bottom in the box.
This is likely a Dutch box. (See the hallmarks in the last photo.)
The beautiful box is about 150-200 years old.
Boxes like this in this beautiful condition are quite rare.
