This ancient mask depicts Bacchus, the Roman god of wine. He is recognizable by the bunches of grapes, vine leaves, and horns.
DRGM on the back stands for Deutsches Reichs-Gebrauchsmuster. This was a German patent registration system.
At the top is "Cotillon - Zeumer, Dresden." Before World War I, Dresden was a global center for paper goods and party supplies.
The mask, which shows signs of use and age, dates from the early 1900s.
