With lots of love

The book has been in my possession for a while when I decide to sell it. After all, that's what I bought it for.
I can usually see the products I buy and sell independently of my own feelings. Even when purchasing, it is clear to me that it is for sale. But sometimes things go a little differently…
When I look at the beautiful book again at home, I see much more than a collection of beautiful records.
Without them literally being there, I read the loving words in the images that he chose with passion and made a collage of each page; a dream, a wish.
I am amazed at how many unwritten beautiful words can be read in the illustrations.
And all for his beloved Mary Jane.
Everything carefully composed into a romantic adventure for her.
And now, more than 100 years later, the love in the book is still palpable. The beautiful plates are not only a feast for the eyes, but they exude so much love that the booklet has a soul, as it were, like a warm, gentle wind.
Finally, after enjoying it for a while, I decide that I'm going to sell it as it was intended. I simply can't keep everything I like, and believe me, that's a lot.
If the book is still for sale on my website on Tuesday after a few busy sales hours, I am secretly happy.
Perhaps it was not visible in my webshop how beautiful this book really is.
Then the phone rings. She really wants to buy the book, says the voice on the other end of the line.
I have the urge to say to her: 'Sorry ma'am, you're just too late!' But that wouldn't be fair of me.
It's a nice thought that the book goes to her. I know she will cherish it and, just like me, read the words never written, the unspeakable love.
She will see that the book was made and given with a lot of love.
And that makes it good.
